Will-O-Bell utilized PointClickCare® as its EHR platform. Yet, to utilize the system effectively, it required specialized configuration. Specifically, the state of Texas utilizes a reimbursement structure with 36 care levels, so Will-O-Bell needed PointClickCare configured to automate reimbursement for accounts receivable and revenue tracking based on those 36 levels.
Richter initiated a discovery call with Will-O-Bell and based on input received, designed a customized PointClickCare billing system. Once the design was complete, Richter’s implementation specialists worked closely with Will-O-Bell’s business office personnel to train them on its usage. Richter also kept in touch over time to assist with periodic system updates and answer any and all questions.
Richter’s PointClickCare customization work enabled Will-O-Bell to effectively and efficiently bill all payers using an updated and optimized PointClickCare system. Not long after deployment, Will-O-Bell’s owners engaged Richter to handle the full spectrum of revenue cycle management duties for the facility on an ongoing basis. Additionally, Richter’s Clinical Consulting team was engaged to help Will-O-Bell submit an accreditation application for the American Health Care Association’s Silver Quality Award .
