CLEVELAND – OCTOBER 15, 2026 — Richter has joined Sunbound, the AI-powered revenue operating system for senior living. Going forward, we'll operate as Richter, powered by Sunbound.

For more than 25 years, we've worked exclusively with post-acute and senior living operators. Our team handles outsourced revenue cycle management, accounting and controller services, Medicaid eligibility, reimbursement and clinical consulting, audit and compliance support, and EHR implementation and optimization for skilled nursing, senior living, home health, and hospice providers.

Sunbound, led by Co-Founder and CEO Manny Cominsky, builds software that runs the revenue cycle from admission to payment. The company has always paired that software with a team of revenue experts, which made us a natural fit. Sunbound brings the technology; we bring decades of hands-on experience in skilled nursing, one of the most complex corners of post-acute billing.

Jennifer Richter, our Founder and CEO, is staying with the combined company in an executive leadership capacity, focused on industry partnerships and product strategy.

What This Means for Our Clients

What stays the same. Your service continues without interruption. You'll work with the same Richter team, the same day-to-day contacts, and the same scope of work you have today. There's nothing you need to do.

What gets better. Over time, you'll have access to Sunbound's platform alongside the services you already rely on:

• End-to-end RCM software. Claims for Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care are checked for denial risk before they're submitted, and our billing experts work every exception through to payment and posting.
• Simpler private pay. Families can move to digital payments, with automated payment operations and a dedicated support team for billing questions, so community staff spend less time on collections.
• Smarter admissions. Payer coverage and a resident's ability to pay are verified in about 30 seconds, before a bed is committed, which helps stop bad debt at the front door.
• More of our team's time where it counts. Sunbound's software takes on the repetitive, high-volume work, so our people can focus on the analysis, judgment, and relationships you count on us for.

The result is one partner with the best of both worlds: modern revenue technology, backed by the Richter team you already know.

“For 25 years, our clients have trusted us with some of the most sensitive work in their business, and that trust was earned by our people,” said Jennifer Richter, Founder and CEO of Richter. “Joining Sunbound doesn’t change who you call or how we show up for you. What it changes is what we can put behind that work. Sunbound’s platform takes on the repetitive volume that has always slowed things down, so you get faster results and our team gets more time for the work where their expertise matters most. I’m genuinely excited about what this means for our clients, and I’ll be right here helping shape what comes next.”

“Senior living operators spend significant time and effort dealing with manual and inefficient financial workflows,” said Manny Cominsky, Co-Founder and CEO of Sunbound. “By joining forces with Richter, a company with deep expertise in skilled nursing and post-acute care, we can transform revenue operations for even more care providers.”
